My grandmother sends her regards and apologizes book recommendation

I have been reading books since I could......well, read. So you can be assured that I have read quite a few books. And I have to say, this possibly the best book I have ever read. Elsa a very clever almost-8-year-old, who is very particular about grammar and knows just about everything. After all, she is a great believer in Wikipedia. She has a very orderly mother, a very crazy grandmother, and a rather tentative father who cannot have too much fun without lying down for a bit. Despite being through the eyes of a 7yr old, I actually found this book quite dark. I do not cry much or ever almost, but this book had me crying through quite a few chapters, not because it's sad but because it's so beautiful. Now, as i am refusing to share even a bit of the book with you, as i feel reading this book should be a sacred experience, i will share what i have learnt (i have picked these lines directly out of the book to show how much i love this book) 1) "the knights did the only thi...

Frantically worried

Oh my god, I am so worried about writing this blog... I get stressed about the smallest of things. Well......." stressed" doesn't seem like the right word. I have always felt that stress is something big people feel, about serious things in life. I feel worry, frantic worry. Recently I had my exams and I was frantically worried. I managed to chew my nails to their ends and pluck half my eyebrows out (don't do this, it doesn't look great). And the strangest thing was, I didn't know why, or about what, I was so frantically worried. It was a 30 marks midterm paper. 30 marks. In my house marks don't matter. Impressing my parent with good marks doesn't work, as they are happy when I get 29 out of 30 or 9. Then why was fidgeting constantly and plucking the hair off my arm while waiting for my paper?

Warning- well nothing in particular....... just be warned. Step 1 : Making the crust (if you are in a hurry and want to make a meal with one less component, this is optional. As you can eat the filling without a crust but not a crust without the filling) Mix ice (were you expecting that?), one cup of atta/ ragi, bajra, and atta mix/ white flour should work too, and solid cubes of butter. You may find the idea of mixing three solid items to make a dough unpleasant, but trust me it's easier than staring at the fridge for two hours later, waiting for it to cool. Now roll it out the best you can.  After rolling it out the fifth time, mine still had holes. So after placing it in the tin I patched it with some extra dough. After all, we can only do our best. NOTE- please oil the tin before putting the rolled out dough in, unless you plan on digging it out with your teeth. Bake in convection at 180 for 25 minutes. Well.....more or less. Step 2 : White sauce/ paste thing ( This isn't...
